Rainier Industries, the Northwest leader in Display, Shade, and Shelter solutions is seeking a Marine Fabricator to support our Marine Division. Come help us meet the rising demands of our growing and dynamic Tukwila facility!

We are seeking a Marine Fabricator who has the necessary skills and experience to roll up his or her sleeves and jump right into the production workflow. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of organization and will have sufficient technical expertise to effectively prioritize and manage the fast-paced workload. Must be highly committed to delivering top notch customer service on a tightly managed production schedule.

Position Summary

Rainier Industries, LTD in Tukwila, WA is home to one of the largest fabric-finishing facilities in the country. Our experienced and diverse team of sewing operators completes a wide variety of fabric finished products from small to complex using the latest technology and equipment. Our fabricators create cool products including tents, lines, marine windows, industrial art, and banners. This position will focus on our marine based products. 

The following are necessary skills and specific tasks which shall be completed with a high level of proficiency:

  • Support Rainier's Quality and Environmental policies.
  • Support the Rainier Safety Initiative.
  • Remain flexible to other tasks assigned by your Supervisor or Manager.
  • Accountable for meeting Job target hours
  • Calculate basic math accurately
  • Lift 35 pounds regularly
  • Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor
  • Assemble windows as assigned, responsible for prime and buff
  • Cut, grommet, turn, fill, fold, pack, hot knife, stapling
  • Knowledge of the digitize machine and patterning
  • Assemble, Tape, and apply Epoxy/Jet weld
  • Ensure the assigned equipment remains in good working condition
  • Oversee individual job as assigned for the team
  • Must be able to read shop drawing and ability to cut-out the window's heart
